Default Worth it?

What do you guys think, is it really worth $50 (or gold in gw terms) for guild wars factions? Considering how its an expansion, although 2 new chars, many new skills, items and monsters are intriguing, but worth teh $50 (gold)?

sorry but it is not an expansion.

think of your favorite book series.

each novel is complete unto itself with the characters from the previous books in a new adventure with new people to meet and places to see.

NOT AN EXPANSION

to answer the question i think it is as i have purchased it.

Looks odd on the surface, but other than us "regulars", whose answers will be pretty obvious, I'm sure there are some trolls, ranters, and WoW fanboys lurking around who no doubt are less than fond of it.

Whether or not it is worth it only time will tell. I took a chance that it will be worth it and bought a copy for each of my accounts.

Not expansion, it's a sequel type of thing!

Not 2 new chars, 2 new professions, a lot of new professioncombos!

Not only many new skills but also new builds, new strategies and tactics, new ways to do things!

Not just new items,... New armours, new greens, new skins, new looks!

I should be paid for this!

GW:Prophecies - standalone game, $50, worth every penny

GW:Factions - standalone game, $50, worth every penny

Owning both games that can be "combined"? - Priceless. (Or is it $100?)

How is $50 the equivelent of "50 gold" in "GW terms" and why in the world do you keep saying that?

When I started playing the old prophecies campaign, I felt like a complete ass everytime I'd ask what some random acronym meant, like toa, thk, or even la. Going into factions and not knowing anything about it while everyone else has the same knowledge level is nice. I may be a noob in factions, but so is everyone else. That in itself makes it worth the $50 I dished out for the game. Other than that, c'mon, its a whole new game, not three extra missions you're done with after an hour of gameplay.
